Affiliated with the faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales, A training program for peoples of the south pacific region Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) on “Bangladesh– Building Advocacy for Migrant Workers and Safe Migration” – is organized with the support of Migrant Forum Asia (MFA), WARBE DF, RMMRU and SDC at Hotel Orchard Suites, Banani, Dhaka.

Pre-budget Discussion on
Migrant Workers’ Perspective
WARBE Development Foundation and Ovibashi Karmi Unnayan Program (OKUP) have jointly organized a program on ‘Pre-Budget Discussion: Migrant Workers Perspective’ under the banner of Bangladesh Civil Society Coordination Committee (BCSCC) on GFMD 2016. The consultation was held on National Press Club, Dhaka. Universal Periodic Review
A workshop on Universal Periodic Review (UPR) was held on 26th August, 2016 at the Hotel Orchard Suites, Banani, Dhaka. Many notable guest speakers attended and addressed in the program. The participants and the guests are seen together after the completion of the workshop.

May Day Consultation
The Bangladesh Civil Society Coordination Committee (BCSCC) on GFMD organized May Day consultation on “Protecting the Rights of Migrant Workers”, supported by WARBE Development Foundation & AWO International e.V. Where Mr. Israfil Alam, Member of Parliament, Mr. Faruque Ahmed, Secretary General of WARBE DF, Sayed Saiful Haque, Chairman WARBE DF, Md. Nazmul Ahsan, President, Bangladesh Ovibashi Adhikar Forum, Sumaiya Islam, Project Director, BOMSA and Atiqun Nabi, Exicutive Director, INAFI was core.

Women’s Day
WARBE Development Foundation organized a consultation on ‘Women Migrants’ Rights in Light of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, supported by AWO International, at the Reporter’s Unity, Dhaka on 15th March 2016. Bangladesh Civil Society Coordination
Committee (BCSCC) on GFMD
A national civil society forum has been established to facilitate the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) that Bangladesh will host for the first time in December 2016. The initiative titled Bangladesh Civil Society Coordination Committee (BCSCC) for GFMD 2016 (BCSCC) was launched at a city hotel on 5 March, 2016 .In the photo the members of BCSCC are being seen.
