Human Rights Day, 2011

To observe the “International Human Rights Day” on 10^th December, WARBE DF has organized a Human Chain, a media discussion on “Bangladeshi Migrant’s Human Rights Violation and their Protection” at National Press Club, conference lounge co-funded by DanChurch Aid and European Union.

Ms. Mafruha Sultana, Additional Director General of BMET was present in the conference as Chief Guest. The panel discussants of the media was Ms. Hasina Inam, Country Manager of Bangladesh, DanChurch Aid, Mr. Faruque Ahmed, General Secretary, WARBE DF, Ms. Sumaiya Islam, Director, BOMSA, Mr. Syed Mahbub Elahi, Chairman, OKKAF, Mr. Mohammad Ali, Secretary General, SETU, Mr. Joynal Abedin Joy, Chairman, BMF. Jasiya Khatoon, Coordinator spoke in the conference as Key Note Speaker. The program was moderated by Syed Saiful Haque, Chairman, WARBE. Following the press conference, a Solidarity Human Chain was formed in front of the National Press Club.
